About this location

Established in 2016, Cross Roads Escape Games is located at 4245E La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, California.

Young and poor, Luke and Madison decided to take a chance, quit their jobs, and open their own escape room with the savings they had worked ten years to build up for their future house. It was one of those scenarios where they would always live a life of 'what if' if they didn't give it a shot. And what better time to try and fail than when you are young? So, they did. A year later, they opened Cross Roads Escape Games with the award-winning game, The Hex Room, in January 2016. They opened their second game, The Fun House, in April 2016, the first escape room for kids and adults. In December 2018, they opened their 3rd game, The Trust Experiment, aka The Psych Ward, and in September 2022, they opened their 4th game, The Weeping Witch. A terrifying game with a live actor and special effects! Luke and Madison have played over 250 escape rooms together and are dedicated to bringing you the highest level of entertainment!

Located on La Palma Avenue in an industrial section near Anaheim Hills, Cross Roads Escape Games is another of the popular escape room venues that have been popping up all over the world. Like those other venues, your group (in our case, a family of six) is locked in a room and is given 60 minutes to find the way out by solving different puzzles and finding related clues that eventually lead to the key that will open the door to freedom and victory. However, Cross Roads Escape Games has some unique qualities that set it apart from its competition. Their primary differentiator is their management and operation - many escape rooms are franchises and get their room set-ups and scenarios from a central source. Cross Roads is a family-owned operation and the design of all four of their onsite rooms comes from the owners, a husband and wife team who both studied Theater Arts in college. Their creativity and ability to set the proper mood are evident in the design of the rooms. In addition, the live hosts (or "game masters") are in various character depending on the room, adding to an even more entertaining atmosphere. Our family tackled the "Fun House" room; the puzzles were pretty challenging, but we were allowed to ask for clues (as long as we asked nicely) if needed. We were all escape room veterans and were able to find our way out with about 20 minutes remaining. Afterward, we all agreed that this was one of the best-designed and well-executed escape rooms we'd ever experienced. Highly recommended!
Had a lot of fun playing the Fun House at Cross Roads! Everything was clean and well-maintained. A great immersive atmosphere and a lot of fun interaction with the game master. Great puzzles that fit the theme and aren't the same ones you see all the time. Don't let the creepy clown entrance fool you - this is very family friendly and would be great fun for a group of kids... but we also had a lot of fun as a group of adults who are kids-at-heart! Thanks for a great experience!
Great times for the kids. Had a group of 6 ten year olds and they all did great. Finished fun house with 2 minutes left. Very challenging even for the kids version. Love the interaction of the game master and game.
