A lifetime of work for the owner:) I have been to several escape rooms and love them so when I saw Escape of a Lifetime open I said I have to come there. It is rare to meet the owner of the escape rooms but Craig the owner not only was present but he was the gamemaster. I did the Vault and did not escape but it was because of a few things. Since I have done so many escape rooms I overlooked some of the more simple clues and details. Doing this escape room made me reevaluate how I play escape rooms which is a good thing:) The Vault was well put together. Craig took the time to work on the details so it actually seemed like I was in a vault. Craig personally delivers the clues when you request one and it doesn't take him a long time to give the clue which has been an issue I had with other places who use the gamemaster entering the room. Craig is very energetic and you can see that escape rooms are his 'lifetime' of work as he gives it his all. He mentioned that he is developing others rooms and the rooms have themes I have not heard of in other escape room companies so I will definitely be back

My favorite escape room so far ! We booked this escape room and it was so worth It. We had to call and change our booking because i mistakenly booked the wrong room. Staff was super accommodating and even though they couldn't fit us in the room we wanted at the same time slot they were able to book us for the next slot instead. They offer three rooms and we attempted the Vault which was the hardest level. Our group time slot wound up just being the two of us and so It was extra challenging. The room is well designed and the clues are very clever. The staff is helpful and offers 3 hints throughout your time slot which we did wind up having to use. Overall for the two of us we made It to the last hint within the hour and considering the low success rate I was happy with that. This is the first time I haven't escaped which made me feel defeated but also impressed. Afterwards they will explain to you anything you missed and you have a photo-op reflecting your success or failure. Would love to go back and try another room maybe with friends. Definitely worth the visit.

I've done a lot of escape rooms in the last 2 years. Most were located in the city, so I was real excited to see one open up right here on Long Island. Compared to the others, Escape of a Lifetime was among my top ranked and probably number one. It was super clean, I loved the "escape room vibe" of the overall place, and what I loved most was the theming. Without giving anything away, I did The Vault, and it felt like I was living the scenario my team was given. Fantastic thought out puzzles, and a ton of fun for everyone. We escaped...but it wasn't easy. After completing our room we were told about other rooms coming soon, and I can't wait! The staff was very nice and Craig answered all our questions. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a good time with friends, or perhaps a challenge, to go and try it out. Whether you get out or not, you're going to have a great time. I'm so happy to have a well designed escape room right here on Long Island, and Escape Of a Lifetime, I'm coming back for more!!!
