About the experience

Its September 1777 and we are in the midst of the Revolutionary War, things are taking a turn for the worse. The continental congress is being forced from Philadelphia and will make a stop 90 miles to the west of their starting point in a small rural community called Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Help George Ross and his niece, Betsy, save our nation and it's flag. The fate of our nation's symbol of freedom rests in your hands. Can you find the flag and send it westward to safety with the Continental Congress before the Loyalist intercept it? You have to rescue the flag before the British arrive at the Ross residence. Do not delay, we are depending on you… Good luck, be brave and be quick.

My family and I did the 1777 room last week and had a blast! Very creative room and clues. I have done two other Escape room locations but this was the first time for my family. Very friendly staff and professional set up. This is now one of my favorite family activities. Keep up the good work!

I went with a group of coworkers and we had a blast doing the September 1777 room. The puzzles and challenges were unique, well thought-out, and honestly quite brilliant! We were able to talk with the owner a bit and it is clear that they love what they do and they have put countless hours into these rooms. My favorite escape room to date! You really feel as though you are immersed into the time period because of the incredible decor and set up of the room. Highly recommend this place!

All seven in our group thoroughly enjoyed our time last evening at Escape on Queen. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has thought about doing an "escape" and also to anyone who has done other escape rooms. We were in the September 1777 room. We already have decided to return later this summer to do The Hideout room. The Prince Street Garage probably is the best choice for parking.
