This is the 4th room I've booked with Escapism and I cannot wait to do the rest of the rooms. Everywhere my husband and I travel, we usually book an escape room for fun. We've done it in Orlando, Bend, and even Vietnam, and Escapism in Portland is still my favorite. Their rooms are super fun, well thought-out and the employees get into character! My favorite part is that, unlike every other company, I can book a room for just my party and no one else will tag along. I'm super competitive, so experiencing an escape room with strangers does not appeal to me at all.I recommend Escapism to everyone!

Mythius was our host for this great escape room. He was hilarious and played the role very convincingly. The challenge was just enough to have us thinking but not too hard as to completely stump us. We escaped with minutes to spare thanks to a hint or two. We will definitely be trying more escape rooms by Escapism.

From the second we got there and reached for the door, the adventure began with our host in full character, urgently pulling us inside to hide from our captors. His excitement and sense of urgency was contagious, adding to the whole experience. The decor was authentic and complete, the puzzles were well crafted, and when we got stuck and asked for a hint (just one time!), our host gave it to us in character and in the form of a riddle, clear enough for us to quickly try something a different way to get us unstuck. I love that he didn't just tell us what to do. HIGHLY recommend as a different and very fun date night or family outing.
