About the experience

Your friend Connor, an aspiring novelist has been working on a book about serial killers. He thinks he has scored his big break when he finds a lead on the Zodiac Killer. Obtaining information on a serial killer that was never caught was an opportunity too great to pass up. So he headed off to the small midwestern town to speak with this informant, Zed Holman, the owner of a junkyard. This was six months ago and you have not heard from Connor since. The police are not able to file a missing person's report, so you decide to go see for yourself. When you finally arrive in town, night is falling and a storm is on the horizon. You approach the junkard with his journal in hand looking for answers as to the fate of your friend...

I've done two of the escape rooms at this location so far. I've done about 15 total escape rooms, so I've gotten a bit picky over time, but Masterpiece has blown me away BOTH times!! I've done the Wrecked room and the Missing room. I love the creepy vibes to both. The use of effects and decor are well done and immersive. One thing I really have to commend them on: their puzzles!! There are so many escape rooms out there that have confusing puzzles that don't even make much sense after they give you hints. Masterpiece doesn't have that problem. They manage to be tricky without being frustrating or nonsensical. They're not too easy, not too hard. When you solve them, you'll get that, "ohh!! that made sense!" feeling that's always satisfying. I've never been to an escape room place with puzzles that so perfectly fit the style and difficulty I like. Truly love this place and can't wait to check out the other rooms!

Amazing experience! We did the Wrecked experience and it was one of our favorite escape rooms ever! Immersive, well planned, fun and never once did we feel like a clue didn't make sense! Everyone participated and everything made perfect sense! Fun story as well! Overall this was an incredible experience and everyone should try this place out!

Love Masterpiece escape! We played the new Wrecked room and had a blast!!! Yes.. we jumped a few times, and screamed a couple more, but it was amazing!! Puzzles are so creative and ingenious.. which I love!! Staff is awesome too!! Have played all the rooms here... and never disappointed!!
