About the experience

While visiting Washington, D.C., you and your group have been invited to a special private tour of the White House. The last stop on the tour is the Presidential command bunker. In the event of a national emergency, the President and his staff would retreat to this bunker.

As you make your way through this last stop on your tour, the bunker suddenly goes into automatic lockdown and you are informed of an imminent attack on the United States. Now, it is just you and your fellow tour members locked in with no hope of outside help.

It is up to you to work together in a 60 minute, high-stakes race to prevent nuclear Armageddon. Good luck - the whole world is counting on you!

This was the second time we've done one of their escape rooms, and both have been lots of fun. The experience combines a super mix of physical scavenger hunt, word play, number puzzles, logic, observational skill, and humor. We had three generations with us, ranging from a 9 year old to an 80 year old, and everyone had fun and was able to contribute. This time we were in the President's Bunker. We missed solving it but just barely (we had gotten to literally the last part, and when our time ran out our host let us see if we could solve it - took us just a few more minutes). Hunter was a super host, just the right amount of hints, guiding questions, and responsiveness, without giving too much away. Highly recommend it for lots of fun and challenge.

Great fun for our entire family Although we had several activities planned for our Christmas week family reunion - the time we spent working together to escape the 'Presidents Bunker' was absolutely terrific. We would recommend this activity to any group that likes to solve puzzles. We did beat the clock, save the world and escape the room with time to spare only utilizing 2 tips. Great team building exercise. We would do this again!

Just escaped the President's Bunker room! This was our third experience at Great Escape Room and all have been really fun. Hunter was our guide tonight and he was great...his clues were really helpful, and he correctly noticed that we like to work things out on our own so he didn't give them too quickly!
