We did the Nutcracker Nightmare and this is the second time I've been to trapped. Cody, our host, was great and fun as Jack the Nutcracker - this was a super fun themed room! We did get unsolicited hints since many of the tasks are things we could mess around with, there wasn't super clear direction on what puzzle to solve first so I appreciated the nudge along. We had a group of 6 people that can sometimes be too much. Cost was about $30 a person which is way better than other rooms we've been to. I can't wait to try their new location, The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe!
when you pay $80 for four people to do a puzzle room for only 1 hour, it better be good. Well, this is good. You interact, you are challenged, you have to be humble and at times you are proud. These puzzles are a definite challenge and once you get through the room(s) there are fun things to talk about and remember. It really is an experience worth more than the one hour. We did Nutcracker nightmare and really enjoyed it... it does not matter that it is no longer Christmastime. It took some hints and cooperation, and we did it just in time!
Carl was a great GM. The Nutcracker Room was so much fun and perfect for our group of 5. Spectacular and stellar. Highly recommend.
