Group of 8 did the Heist. We all enjoyed it! It took each of us to solve all the puzzles and finish in time (we did, with 15 seconds to spare). We had two 13yo boys, three 15yo girls, a 21yo girl and two parents. The kids all said it was "really good" and asked to do another one. It took creative thinking and cooperation to solve. You can take your cell phone with you during the activity if you need it, but you won't want to be distracted. It is a little pricey, but it is fun for everyone.
This was my first puzzle room experience and it didn't disappoint! My group did the Heist room at the St. Paul location. It was so much fun, challenging, and our guide (Casey) was the right amount of helpful -- only chiming in when we needed it, and only offering subtle hints to spur our own ideas. Can't wait to try more here in the Cities and elsewhere!
We (group of 15 adults) were split into 3 groups of 5. The group I was in did The Heist while the other 2 groups did Spy vs. Spy. If you've ever played room escape games, it's a very similar premise. We had a blast figuring out all the puzzles, which were very creative and challenging. We needed some hints to get through, but we did escape and actually broke their record! The host / game creator was gracious and had a good sense of humor. Highly recommend!
